thats why you get a hard pencil (i mean the lead is hard not the wood
) and draw lightly on the paper, then when youre done with that you move onto the softer pencils which are darker
also get some good erasers, i got a kneadable one from my art teacher, its pretty cool since you can form it to get into those small areas which are hard to erase
