The lame part was that they had no "given goal", its one excuse after another, and I simply doubt its only for saddam, since he was captured already.

Yes and No, they didnt no their part, yes but even if they did, the US doesnt obligate with them . Sadly, the US does what it wants whenever it willing to do. The UN resolutions seems no longer to include the US.

Where is the rebuild? I am seeing the opposite happen :P Now firing on residental homes and moseques was because of "returning fire"? True, some people do ambush and attack them, but firing on civilians is un exusable no matter what the reason is.

Agreed,..and the presence of the american forces in iraq will make it far more un-realistic :P
