whats lame? I don't see your point... despite what some believe, were not there for oil, were not there for democracy (well... we're helping them out with that now) nor terrorism (but I'm sure there will be some anti-terror stuff going on). We went in for one simple purpose... to remove Saddam (and we even gave him the option to just walk away from it) case closed. Now we have to help them... the Iraqi's arent enemies. Saddam, yes... the people of Iraq... no.
Like I said, if the UN was doing it's job... this should have never happened. I guess thats what happens when people sit around with thumbs up their butts for years and years (look at WW2
for example). It's a sad situation...
And since when are we there to kill people? I thought we were there to help rebuild. Of course when any armed forces get shot at their going to return fire (I know I would and I'm sure you would too).
I just hope EVERYONE makes it out safe (which isn't very realistic) *sigh*
