Well, MLK himself may or may not deserve a day, but it's not really HIS day. It's more like civil rights and equality day and that's a concept that I think DOES deserve attention and a day off. They just named the day after him since he was one of the guys who spearheaded the whole movement, and his ideas were peaceful and non-violent.
