Not sure if this will help, but I dualview. My monitor is 1024x768 and my other one is a TV (setting's on 800x600). For some reason when Dolphin is loading a game, my mouse keeps going slower and slower when the window is on the TV screen. This is an indication that something is running, and I'll begin to use this method to load things that are not running, or running very very slow. Not sure if it works on everyone.
