It really is easy to fix this one, so I'll walk you through it step by step.
1. Go to
this page and download a copy of frhed--it's probably the best hex editor for Windows that I've seen.
2. Install and run frhed.
3. Once frhed is running, go to File|Open and open the Brutal Sports Football image (make sure that it's unzipped!).
4. Highlight the first 512 bytes of the file (use the mouse or the keyboard--it doesn't really matter).
5. Press the delete key. A dialog will ask you to confirm that this is really what you want to do. Click OK.
6. Either press CTRL+S to save the file or go to File|Save.
That's it! You've just cut out the first 512 bytes from Brutal Sports Football. Give it a whirl with VJ.
