should hopefully be fixed in 1.4, i think the zelda games r quite high priority on zilmar/jaobs list of things to do.
not quite sure aobut ur speed probs,
www.smiff.clara.net will give some suggestions, although i would say ur pc is good enuff to run games at full speed (60vi/s). wat is ur average vi/s?
