Very true, but are they used in the same way?
Lets say Game X & Y uses Feature A but to do diffrent stuff, wouldn't it be simplier for me to just
make my version of Feature A to just support Game X?

Ah, yes.. but a console is built to support an unlimited
noumber of games, whatever the developers choose
to twist the consoles features into bringing forth.
The emu im talking about isn't emulating thet console
just selected parts of it (and just pices of those parts)

Maybe, maybe not, that was not my question =)
Do i recall correctly if i say that this has already been
made before? (some Arcade game?)

If the game supports 3d models and surroundings, true.
(next section is "faar out maan" ... sorry)
Let me demonstrate my thinking with a metamorphosis (that might be the most advanced english word i have ever posted in any forum so i hope i used it correctly *holding thumbs*):
Lets say you have a big ocean (the core or whatever)
and in that ocean you have some large islands
(the different features of the console)
and on one of those islands you have som scattered
trees
(different uses of a feature)
Now the question is:
is it possible to cut away all the land one one island
except the land that supports one of those trees
and that tree will still live?
