1. The firmware without the drive is useless. You still need that rare Samsung DVD drive.
2. No, I don't ask for it. I don't have that drive, so it useless

and I'm quite happy with my current Pioneer DVD ROM.
3. Both PM nor posting, IF it's illegal, not permitted as well.
