Since they obviosusly decided not to release the final version on Cinco de Mayo, 5th of May, this year they are probaly ironing out the bugs and making in a stabil and complete release so that they can leave it as intended instead of as if. By the looks of it, and how good prior releases have been I can't see this release being anything else but stunning.

And what's still uncertain is if Rice will continue his GPU plugin which has made giant leaps over the last months. If the last and final release of 1964 should sport a fast, error free and accurate core with high compatibility the combination of 1964 and Rice graphics could be a complete solution for N64 emulation.
