Cxbx is dependant on NTDLL and DirectX, so any system that is capable of providing those dependencies can run it. It's entirely possible that you could see Cxbx running on a linux system on WINE. I havent gotten a chance to work on this, because WINE is annoying to install on my slackware box (too many packages needed to download, etc).
Win2k and XP have NTDLL, so thats why they both work. From what i've heard, WINE has some support for NTDLL, and some support for DirectX, so i'd hope to see it working on Linux some day :]

so is there a way to get NTDLL on WinME or Win98?
