Okay, it seems to have solved it, and even work better (plays MORE sounds that peops didnt)... However, it's phenomonally slower.. It hardly even runs full speed now.
I tweaked the settings to get them fairly low and still work, but still it's slow.. Ah well, time to upgrade I suppose.
On a side note, I can't get my FF4 game to work _at all_ with the sound.. the sound just blazes ahead full speed, way out of sync, then generally just stops.. Not sure what the heck is going on here, tried 3 different sound plugins, with TONS of varying options, all to no avail..
