If your only purpose is to play commercial games..then we suggest shelling out $40-50 on the console (the price of a game..don't be cheap)

So why an emulator? Well there is another reason, but most overlook it. A trip to most Dreamcat emu sites shows a good many homebrewn games...many are quite good....so an emulator would be another method of enjoyment....
