IIRC, I encountered the same bug when I was to use XP (now I came back to W2k).

The next question: Is it possible to handle game-specific subchannel files like the ePSXe CDR core does (when starting SLES_xxx.xx it will load that specific SLES_xxx.xx.m3s subchannel file)?
AFAIK, I don't think so, because in the P.E.Op.S. cdr plugin u need to choose the .ppf u want to apply, so everytime u change the game, u need to change the .ppf. Just a question: have u tried to enable the "apply .ppf option" w/o choosing a .ppf and then start ePSXe? As I'm not at home (I'm at work ) and I don't have any games here, I can't try it... maybe a "choose .ppf window" appears

Thx, bye

edit > ops, I saw I wrote about .ppf and F-3582 asked about subchannel files: well, my advice is the same, enable the "subchannel from file" option w/o choosing a file, then start ePSXe and see if a "choose subchannel window" appears...
