Demigod, thanks for the link to 3dbenchmark. I'll download it tonight after I am done getting the newest Catalyst drivers for the Radeon. Then tomorrow I can test it and see what I get.
dogulation000, thanks for the link to Rage3D Tweak, that is just the utility I was looking for. From the way you describe it, it sounds like it does for the Radeon what Riva Tuner does for the TI 4600. Also, you do not need to worry about my messing w/the overclocking settings, because I won't be. As I have said before, I don't believe in overclocking. Thanks for the warning though.
average_guy, in case you are wondering if I did get the 9700 pro, I did and I am already impressed. I, a die hard Nvidia man, never thought I be saying this about another card. Also, my card cost $299, not $500. That is due to the fact that it is an OEM card in a plain white box.

Thanks for all the views and advice everyone I really really appriecate it. Now, one word about the Sony Viao NVR23 Laptop, "To use it is to fall for it." It is a FANTASTIC machine.
BTW, in the screenshots section I'm going to be posting some shots I took of GENS running Sonic the Hedgehog using my new Radeon. In other pictures you'll find a shot of my Dancing Babies screen saver (Ali McBeal anyone?) also using the Radeon. Hope you like them.
