Sonic is completly diferent than crash bandicot, he was based on a TV show, and he's really cool and fast,.....if you had a look at sonic classic games, you ll notice that people loved "the collect 100 rings or more then battle the boss" gameplay. i even like it myself. Sonic was an innovative idea at his time. The only crash bandicot game i liked was crash team racing,.....
, it was so funny playing dirty games on other racers by placing bombs and nuking them,........etc
