I don't know which console is more "kiddy" and I don't really care. I just know that Nintendo will always be viewed as the more kiddy console and for one simple reason. Sure both systems have kiddy games and both systems have mature games. But whenever someone thinks of Nintendo they think of the 1st party franchises, which are Nintendo's colorful and bright characters, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Link, Star Fox, etc. These games may not truely be kiddy, but the graphic design portrays it that way. And these games are the foundation and flagship franchises for Nintendo - so even if there's not that many kiddy games, Nintendo and Nintendo's kiddy looking mascots are inextricably bound together in most people's mind making the kiddy label almost impossible to shake.
