A few problems, concerning 1964 v0.9.9...
I wanna say that I am very fukcin' impressed with the authors of 1964...this version is incredible! It runs so sweet now! Thank you very much, schibo and Rice
![]() Although, I have encountered a few little problems. Mainly, Donkey Kong 64. Now, I don't know which sound plugin to use to get it working properly, so that would help me alot. Plus, the new sound plugin that came with 1964 is quite amazing....although, it doesn't work. You see the Nintendo logo, a monkey says 'OK', you here some drum beats. Then, when Kranky is supposed to be mixing on his turn table, firstly....his hands don't move...which they should. Then I lose sound completely, followed by the fact that I cannot press Start to start the game...the controls are dead. Also, the new Daedalus plugin doesn't work great......cheers, Radeon. So, I rely on Jabo's D3D 6 v1.5.1..which is very good...one of the best. And finally, is there ANY way to get Jabo's DirectSound v1.5 working in 1964 v0.9.9? I know that the previous version wouldn't use it for compatibility reasons, and I was really hoping that would be resolved in this issue. You can see my system specs as my sig, and I really wanna play this game. I saw on the the fixes/enhancements list was the Donkey Kong 64 update....i'd really appreciate all the help I can get. ![]() ready2rumbelX

To get Donkey Kong to work properly, there is a small in-depth guide (link below) to get the game going:
http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=17897 You can use Jabo's audio, but you must use the RSP plugin that comes with PJ64 to get it to work. Simply copy it to 1964's plugin folder and enable it. Definitely worth it! Yep, Rice's does have problems with Radeons, but there are plugins that work great on them such as Jabo's, glN64() and Glide64 + eVoodoo. Hopefully Rice can fix the Radeon complications soon! |

Since we got a thread open on this topic.....
I'm having a error with Kirby 64...whenever I use a special power (like fireball), the game stopped during the animation. It's not like a total freezeup, but kirby just suddenly "pauses", but all the other ememies keep on moving
