Well Perfect Dark requires a real heavy rig (like the one I have ) to run as it is supposed to , but I think the minimum requirements for Perfect Dark are :

1.8 Ghz processor
256 MB SDRAM (DDR would be better)
Geforce/ATI or other high end videocard.

Its runs full speed on my AMD Athlon XP 1800+ ( 1.54 Ghz)
256 RAM and Geforce II 100/200 MX

( just poining out that a 1.8 GHz isnt a minimum requirement , also a TNT2 might be able to run it smoothly too )

Could be Kingstar but have you played it all trough yet on 1964 ???
Pj64 handles the game a bit better IMO speedwise that is.

From what I read of, a combination of Glide64 and eVoodoo will give you the best performance. But I think you should have no problem using the D3D plugins as you have a very powerful cpu.
