1964 wont run my roms

i tried perfect dark on pj64 but ther is a lot of slow down so i decided to try 1964 but it wont run. it says emulation started but it just stays on a black screen

There is a button at the bottom right of every post that says "Edit". It allows you to edit your own posts. Its better to use that and add in stuff you forgot, rather than adding a whole new post.

I'm not fully sure weather PD runs on 1964 yet but in any case have a look at the compatability lists for the emulators on the NGEmo.com site, they may help. I have found that PD runs better on PJ64 just because of the emulator being further ahead in development.

i cant remember who it was but someone on this forum told me that he has perfect dark running at a steady 50fps in 1964. also does anyone else have graphics problems on the carrington villa. with me the scenery leaves trails behind itself and theres always squares of blue flashing on and off the screen

is there an option to use the expansion pack with 1964 cos i can only access the multiplayer in perfect dark? is there a plugin i need? i got jabos graphics plugins and opengl one that dont work(missing microcode or something)

and how come the graphics r no where near as good as pj64

To use the expansion Pak in 1964, all you need to do is in the ROM Browser, right click on the rom you want and click on Rom Settings. in the new window, there should be a drop down menu (Somewhere at the top left) which allows you to turn it on or off for that game. Select on, then click ok in the window, run the game and the expansion pak should be on.

ok perfect dark starts up says expansion pack detected goes frew the usual intros like the nintendo logo etc, but when it says perfect dark i press start or just leave it to start on its own and the intro for the first level comes on without going to the options like normal. then when i press start or leave the intro to play through the level dont even start. it just starts rto play the music and then it just freezes and the music stops. anyone else had this problem before and can anyone help me please im desperate to play this game properly. thanx!!!!!

Maybe you could try to use the other self-modifying codes...Don't know if it will work but try it.
