duke nukem zero hour

I'm having a bit of a problem with duke nukem zero hour.
When i use azimers newest plugin 4.0Beta2 the game runs slow, but the sound is in perfect sync with the game.
When i use the older plugin Azimer3.0 the game runs as fast as it should but the sound is out of sync, it plays after it should. and is quite choppy.
Does anybody have a sollution as to how i could get the game working with good sound?
I'm using jabo's latest d3d plugin and nrage's input plugin.
My comp's a
14ghz 512ram and so on, so i don't think thats the problem.
If anybody could offer some help I vould appreciate it.
Btw i'm playing the us version of Zero hour.
