Why is it so freakin' fast?

Maybe it's just my computer, but why does it run everything so fast? Like everything seems ahead of itself, especially games like South Park 64. is there any way to slow it down?

Use FPS limit and use autodetect fps in Pete's plugin.
Same as NickK's plugin

Enable sound sync is the option you are looking for I believe.

You can press F6 toggle the option to sync the sound and video to normal speed.
