Also, AMD is not 1/3 the price. What nonsense. They are marginally cheaper. And they have to be. They have a vastly inferior product at the moment. When this was not the case, and they were beating the old P4 northwoods, prices were (surprise) very comparable. But now they're getting dominated in the desktop CPU market, hence the lower prices.

I was referring to Skore's post there and yes all are out there to make money but some do it by giving you what you paid for, others use slightly dirtier tactics like that case with rebranding and i don't know how things where in the USA back then but here even when AMD surpassed the P4 they where still cheaper (not to mention the Sempron), though i admit in a way you may be right they may be more honest (i mean AMD here) because Intel has the upper hand on the market and in performance.
