Rhetoric like this drives me nuts. ALL companies will try to earn as much money as they think they can for their product. There is no exception. None of them are out to do you any favors, they're out to make money.

Also, AMD is not 1/3 the price. What nonsense. They are marginally cheaper. And they have to be. They have a vastly inferior product at the moment. When this was not the case, and they were beating the old P4 northwoods, prices were (surprise) very comparable. But now they're getting dominated in the desktop CPU market, hence the lower prices.
