I found the speed hacks you were talking about, but it seems like its still having really bad syncing issues with sound, and a bit of lag once in a while (not as bad though with all these hacks turned on). Reading some reviews on it I've discovered that there's a bit of lag with controls to begin with, along with some other unintuitive design decisions. I may just give up on it since this emulator lag and bad sound syncing combined with not-so-good game design are making it unplayable.

As to the cpu comment, I think I'd rather just buy the 20$ game than get a new 300$ cpu (since this cpu is running sims 3, spores, left 4 dead, and wrath of the lich king just fine).
