Hey cyclonmaster, I am using the same power supply for my external DVD RW drive for my laptop. When I switch on the power supply, the green LED on the YH-3018 is bright, there is a constant buzzing sound near the power cord in the adapter, the DVD drive works for a minute or so and then it blanks off and it seems there is no power supply to the drive. What could be the problem and the possible solution ?

Please help !
