Did I claim that? No (although, true enough, to me, since an LCD more often then not looks so ugly outside it's native resolution that that's all I'd really consider truly usable for it, that's besides the point being made that that isn't resolution flexibility, because it's not, so despite my opinion on the matter, I never made that claim that they can't do what you're describing).
