I won't, since I'm not that interested. I didn't know about that widescreen CRT, though. I never intended to pass off widescreen as part of the LCD technology.
And no one of us said that letterboxing was as good as true support for the resolution. But one should not claim that you simply can't run a fullscreen application that uses a 4:3 resolution without it stretching to all hell.
