There is a solution to your problem.
1. I just hope you had a saved state just before the card game championship tournament with sailor erin.
2. Go back to the moogle near the weapon shop and saved your game in a MEMORY CARD.
3. close your ePSXe emulator
4. open your ePSXe emulator and load your game using the MEMORY CARD.
5. challenge the card game championship and after the card game the FMV with bahamut will now load normally.
