oh man i feel so depressed right now.

i dl'd ff8 because it was my favorite game back in the day. managed to get it working. i opted to use pSX 1.13 since i was having so much trouble with espxe.

anyways, im all the way to disc 3 when your in space right after rinoa gets possessed and as i am in the middle of following her inside the space station BAMMMM no keys respond any more.

none of the game buttons work, i tried restarting it a few times. i tried resetting the buttons config also a few times.

i am soo far into the game to give up now, im about to breakdown and cry, some one please haaalp!
