Cant man. seems this error is causing the CD scan function to not work. and since i only have this game in CD form i need to scan off the cd.
EDIT: I tried the "scan directory" option and that doesnt work either. it looks like its scanning but the scan status window goes super fast and closes in a matter of seconds. heres a pic of the scan status window:
