I definitely agree with that. Although I personally like FF9 more than FF8 - thought it had much better story and I actually kinda like the cartoonish graphics. I'm still undecided about whether FF6 of FF7 is my favorite though. FF6 was a gigantic game... with all those characters... but still had awesome plot, good character development, and the usual great music. FF7 had all that AND the fact that by jumping to the PS it had superior graphics and sound and was more of an immersive multimedia gaming experience - only thing is, it's not as big or as wide open as FF6 was.

If FF6 was actually re-MADE, not just ported (damn Anthology got my hopes up for nothin, just some movie clips) it would be hands down my favorite, but because of the huge difference, I'll still have to call it a draw between FF6 and FF7.
