The GPU client is the fastest available client by far and will net you the most PPD. (Both CAL and CUDA clients are faster than the PS3 client!
)
The SMP client is experimental, but in my testing is very stable. It nets more PPD than the "standard" FAH client, but can't hold a candle to the GPU clients. If you have a triple or quadcore CPU, you can use the SMP client in conjunction with the GPU client. (reserve 2 cores for the SMP client(s) and one core to "assist" the GPU client)
