Yes may be this is how its going to go.But I think nickk started 2xsai in nextsoft plugin.Its another thing that he is right now concentrating on nextgl.He was thinking to work upon nextsoft in his next vacations (soon).
So I am sure that once he get some more adjustments done on nextsoft(which currently in beta stage supports super eagle and 2xsai) he will release it.
