I was actually underhandedly mocking the situation when I wrote that. There is no perfect solution for the overheating problem if you have an earlier revision of the console.
But i had no idea about the cooling attachment actually contributing to the RROD's. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't want good old Tacosumas to fry his xbox.
