I've had mine almost a year[Falcon chipset ftw!] and it still works.
Protips:
1. Don't put it in an entertainment center that has no room for the 360's exhaust to blow out.
2. No carpet!
3. Make sure it has plenty of room to take in/blow out air.
4. Take breaks every now and then while gaming so it can cool down.
