Final Fantasy 1 hack: "Dragoon X Omega"

I just started playing this, and I was rather surprised with just how much work must have gone into it. Virtually everything is changed except the core programming, and they did a lot of fantastic optimizations to the dreadfully slow original FF battle system code. At maximum battle speed it actually runs just a hair too fast.

So far I have been impressed, only played about 5 minutes, plan to delve in deeper after work (on lunch break).

Has anyone else by chance played this?

Oh yea, and I got it from Zophar's Domain

Yay, zophar is updating again regularly, I remember getting my first NES emulator, NESticle, back in like 98.
