In an IGN interview with FFXII Executive producer Akitoshi Kawazu, he himself said that he was frustrated with XII's story. He personally felt that the story was lacking and that fans were disappointed.

No matter how much you try to reason you can't change sales, reviews, content, or fan base. Which is what makes up a game.
EXAMPLE: The publisher for the Harry Potter series can say they were disappointed in the final book. Does that make the book any worse? I think not.

"Before and when". For your information I played the game for about 4 hours before I got bored. Actually make an attempt to read what I said, think it over, hit the john, brush your teeth, and then come back and try to make sense.

Tidus and Vaan were designed by 2 different artist. A company is formed to make money, not please fans. Unless their non-profit. A remake of VII is out of the question while in development of XIII and Vs. Unlike you, square isn't stuck in the past.
