Who does like it?

Drawing a single spell for a single character would take too much time and get really tedious and annoying,
especially if you never use that character or that spell.
I reckon that, although "drawing magic" was way too flawed, the "junction system" had some potential. Sure, I'd like to never see it again - but if Square managed to make it more... I dunno, friendly and interesting, I guess... Then perhaps VIII would be easier to tolerate. However, there were just too many tutorials - well, okay, there wasn't alot of them, but when one did pop up, it would be a dull tour of the game; and each tutorial lasted
way too long and was impossible to skip (which is an extra annoyance if your re-playing the game again). The story of VIII was also lacking somewhat, mostly the lack of backstory or meaning to the main baddie. The only thing I truly liked of VIII was its soundtrack, and still believe it has the best music of any FF game. But anyway, that's my rant of VIII.
