Isn't that how it is alot of the time though? That's why I hate (Final Fantasy) games where anyone could be anything from like 2/3 of the way through the (storyline part of the) game and on. By the end, unless you don't try, everyone starts becoming more and more the same aside from looks and specials, making each character have no individuality as far as gameplay goes. Final Fantasy VII and on through XII, save IX, all had this problem. I hope Final Fantasy XIII doesn't suffer from this. It's an underrated problem with the series.
