No side quest.........? 0_o Are you high? My tidus doesn't hit 99k per blitz ace slash for nothing. There about 30 optional bosses.

I could make a game with stats and make the main character a cat. When I control the cat in game it would be considered role playing.

Being able to connect with a game or whatever is a big plus. And for me if I can't do that then well that's a minus in a particular area (I should add this mostly applies to rpgs). Also there were some bosses that you just had connect Quicknings or else your screwed. I leveled up a lot but that did help thatmuch compared to other games.
In it's own right I admire that it tried something new, and cinematics were great, but gameplay wise I didn't feel any excitement in battles. When I defeated a tough boss It was more off, thank God now I can move forward than YEAH! The reason I kept on?
Honestly speaking, I wanted to see if the Nu Mou from FFTA were still alive, and it didn't help that my friend told me they were before I reached them.

Quickening are supposed to be used as a last resort unless you can do them extremely well. Go fight cid gunz blazing with quickenings and watch how he rapes you blind. If the game were 20 hours of gameplay like the rest of the series then I know you wouldn't be complaining
