Is 2.8 Ghz the frequency of one core ? If yes, know I'm using a Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.8 Ghz per core = 3.6 Ghz total) and I got 30-45 FPS.
Is the game lagging ? This is caused by DVD access. To fix it, dump an ISO of your game and use Linuzzapz ISO plugin as CDVD plugin.
