Intel's just being greedy and wants people to stop buying hardware that's in a market they don't dominate, so they downplay other hardware and/or merge that hardware into their own (CPU/GPU CPU combinations they have planned). Either that, or they can't stand being the social laughingstock of the GPU market when it comes to performance of their IGPs (though they do outsell nVidia and AMD/ATi when it comes to number of units moved). Why doesn't Intel get off it's butt and just make some powerful dedicated GPUs then instead of spreading propaganda? With the AMD/ATi troubles, it sure would be interesting, at the very least, with another competitor. Sure, for most people, a dedicated GPU would be near, if not, useless, but considering GPUs are mostly meant for gaming, and they left that out of the equation, they're being ridiculous.
