I've recently started using FastCapPro and it's really superb for recording movies as it's the program that slows down the least. It also allows you to create "benchmark sessions" similiar to FRAPS and all the other features FRAPS lets you, with an easily configured GUI. Although it's noticable it's a very new program as it doesn't even work with favorite PC game UT3 atm, the game doesn't start with that program running so it may be a bit buggy but I've used it for PCSX2 a lot and it slows down a couple of FPS at most when recording, not really noticable. It doesn't either limit PCSX2 to a specified fps limit which is annoying if you want to cap the movie at 30 fps, PCSX2 would also slow down to 30 FPS, but if you use FastCapPro you can record at 30 FPS (I usually use 60 FPS though) but PCSX2 will run normally fast.
