You would probably have to wait a while before the game(s) you have mentioned would be playable.
It is not worthwhile to sell a desktop, buy a PS2, and then buy an updated computer to play the game.
Just buy the PS2 at its low price today.
However, since you have already tried to
play it on your computer without the ownership of a PS2, support for your game has been forfeited until the legality of your future PS2 and game purchase and the legal BIOS dump can be verified.
