Use
GSdx for your graphics.
Go to
PCSX2.net - News and download the latest beta. With it you can enable speed hacks which will help you to improve your speed. But, they are more likely to crash your game. Also, the betas are not supported here on the forums.
Edit: By the way, use the .exe without the the "t" in the filename, for example, pcsx2svn349.exe. That's the virtual memory version which should give you the best results. If you're on vista, be sure to run the application as an administrator.
