Obviously I am doing something wrong, I've never done a PS emulator before. Probably something really n00bish, sorry. I read you're guide on how to set it up, and I even made an ISO with Alcohol 120% via your guide. Game runs very slow, glitches, sound skips. I put most settings to the lowest, and worked way up. If you need any more information ask please. I really don't know what I am doing or where to begin troubleshooting...

OK Mr.Dcollins85,,, lets walk a step by step :
step 1 - First we need to make sure that your ePSXe emu works fine (mean exe file),,, lets just double click on it and see if the main window is appears...If OK proceed with next step if not (than know that your emu executables are damaged and you have to re-download and also check your pc for viruses).
step 2 - After running the emu-main-window (GUI), ignore any config wizards by the emu, 'cause you will do that by your self :
(a) - Go to Config/BIOS and select SCPH1001(US) then confirm OK...(igonore the restart message and continu with next step). DONE for BIOS.
(b) - Go to Config/Video and select one of PETE's D3D plugins (Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75 is OK),,, and set its configs as fellow :

(C) - Go to config/sound and select (ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2)...(igonore the restart message and continu with next step).DON FOR SOUND PLUGINS.
(D) - Go to config/CD-ROM and select (ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2), than set in it your CD/DVD ROM drive name/Label....DONE FOR CD-ROM.
(D) - Go to config/Game Pad/Pad 1 (and set/config your pads as you desire)...(igonore the restart message and continu with next step).DONE.
You've just configured your emu at the basic most needed configuration that works in 100%, now you need to close and restart the emu,,,Than you need to check if your ePSXe emu works correctly with your configuration and your PC, to do so just run the BIOS as fellow (Go to FILE/RU BIOS), if the BIOS works correctly (mean the sony logo and main bios window with mem card editor & AUDIO CD PLAYER...etc)even if sound is glitchy, than its OK and you can run GAMES with advanced configuration techniques, otherwise something is wrong with your PC/OS/EMU PACK.
