well i had the same problem already. My FFX version is SCES_504.90. And i noticed it is because of Speed hacks. Well for me the solution is to disable speedhacks before this scene, and enable it after
Well maybe this will helpful so i also write it...
It is that moment after 'first yuna's sending' that they go to sleep. Well the sleep scene (Dark screen and only snoring as SFX) should be fine, but the problem is, when the snoring is out, the screen stays black and seems that there is no sound either. However emulator doesn't crash or hang. Seem to be working, but in that moment should read DVD (or image) but it doesn't happen.
^Well i wrote it only if someone wants to get rid of this prblem. if not, then just ignore it and disable/reenable speed hacks
