Oh boy, this looks like it might take a while...
@drentooth: What BIOS did you try? Try a few other BIOS images too, in addition to that one. What messages appeared in the console window? Did it say anything about the r3000 a bunch of times? If so, you know instantly that you have a bad BIOS and must find a new one. How far did it get before it crashed? Did it even show the main window, and if it did, did you actually see the off-white start-up screen before it crashed? Is this the first time you've ever tried using the emulator, or have you successfully used it before? Have you successfully used the BIOS with any other PS1 emulator?
