Well it has to do with the fact that the controller your using is wireless. The software drivers that come with the converter are not designed to handle wireless gamepads.

The hardware is fine, but you'll have to code your own drivers. Not even the famed xbcd Xbox controller drivers work with wireless controllers even though Squall and others have tried putting their minds to getting it to.

So unfortunately you'll either have to get a wireless PC gamepad or settle for hooking up a wired ps2 gamepad to the adapter.
